Industries
IoT
The Internet of Things (IoT) refers to a network comprised of physical objects capable of gathering and sharing electronic information. The Internet of Things includes a wide variety of “smart” devices, from industrial machines that transmit data about the production process to sensors that track information about the human body.
IoT involves extending internet connectivity beyond standard devices, such as desktops, laptops, smartphones and tablets, to any range of traditionally dumb or non-internet-enabled physical devices and everyday objects. The total installed base of Internet of Things (IoT) connected devices is projected to amount to 75.44 billion worldwide by 2025, a fivefold increase in ten years.
Consumer Electronics
Computing and electronic devices have started the converging process over the last decade. Digital convergence, is the tendency for technologies that were originally unrelated to become more closely integrated and even unified as they develop and advance. For example, telephones, television, and computers began as separate and mostly unrelated technologies, but have converged in many ways into interrelated parts of a telecommunication and media industry, sharing common elements of digital electronics and software.
NationGate’s involvement and expertise in producing some of the traditional computing related products are key enablers that allow new converging electronic products to be manufactured such as all in one Point of Sales devices, state of the art notebooks.
Industrial Instrumentation
Industrial instrumentation uses various industrial instruments to measure and control various industrial measurements in industries. The common quantities used in industries and which are considered for measurement include fluid pressure, fluid flow rate, temperature of a device, volume of fluid, motion or position or physical dimensions or acceleration of the machine, electrical current, electrical voltage and electrical resistance.
In an automatic- controlling operation the quantity can be controlled using the control signal sent by the computer to the controlling devices. Most of the industries are automated for ease of operation for this purpose; the microcontroller and microprocessors are required for programmable switching. For example, in many industries, the industrial power schedule is automated using embedded systems.
Data Computing
NationGate is involved in data computing segments allows itself to tap into the big data and information process Business.
Thousands of these end products are manufactured and assembled on a weekly basis and shipped across the world For its customers.
Networking
The optical telecommunication area is NationGate’s involvement in the Networking segment. Optical fiber is the most common type of channel for optical communications. The growing demand for network bandwidth and data storage has placed this segment as an opportunistic segment for NationGate.
The transmitters in optical fiber links are generally light-emitting diodes (LEDs) or laser diodes. Infrared light, rather than visible light is used more commonly, because optical fibers transmit infrared wavelengths with less attenuation and dispersion. NationGate’s customer’s products include high-speed voice enabler, video and data communications for networking equipment manufacturers, data center operators, storage, wireless, cable TV applications and telecom service providers.
Telecommunications
Telecommunication is best defined as a communications system or communication system that is a combination of stand-alone communications networks, transmission systems, relay stations, tributary stations, and data terminal equipment (DTE).
These components are usually capable of interconnection and interoperation to form an integrated whole. The components of a communications system serve a common purpose, are compatible, using common procedures, acting to controls, and operating in union.
Medical
With the advent usage of electronics in the medical field, today’s medical devices/instruments are used to diagnose, prevent, or treat diseases with a combination of electrical devices, instrument, apparatus, or implant that is used to diagnose, prevent, or treat disease or other conditions, and does not achieve its purposes through chemical action within or on the body.
Automotive
Electronic systems in vehicles, including engine management, ignition, in-car entertainment systems, and others. Ignition, engine and transmission electronics are also found in trucks, motorcycles, off-road vehicles, and other internal combustion powered machinery such as forklifts, tractors and excavators. Related elements for control of relevant electrical systems are also found on hybrid vehicles and electric cars. Modern electric cars rely on power electronics for the main propulsion motor control, as well as managing the battery system.
